Hasn’t it been well established that the ‘90's Ram changed the styling of trucks forever? They went from boxes on wheels to the highly styled utility vehicles they are today

Hasn’t the Grand Cherokee always been unibody?

I regularly drive over graded, but not paved roads that have manholes and sewer drains sticking up 4-6". With more ground clearance I can straddle them instead of trying to squeeze around the sides

I see these articles all the time, but have never had any trouble loading or unloading the bed of my Ram. Am I missing something?

Hot Wheels were an easy bribe for my kids to be patient at Target (at $1 each, I didn’t even have to think about it), but now I can’t remember the last time I saw any in the aisle

Columbia has a solid warranty too.  I had a zipper go bad on a 12 year old jacket, sent it and and they gave me a credit for the full retail price

Easiest way to get dust off the fan cover is a paintbrush

Had a ‘98 with a bench seat as my first car. My overall memories are positive but there was some maintenance involved, although I definitely tested the boundaries of what kind of beating it could take. $5,500 seems a little high, but rose colored glasses...NP

I have an ‘00 Silverado with 235k miles. The body may fall apart around it, but that 5.3 just keeps going and going

Its common for trucks to not have rear defrosters

Who is running their tires at max PSI??

PA turnpike speed limit is 70...

Agreed. I have an ‘00 with the 5.3l and the Z71 package AND 233k miles. It has some rust issues, but other than that it just keeps on chugging along.  It even manages to pass PA inspection and emissions without any hiccups

Most newer Jeeps have something like and its great

I had a ‘98 in high school. Column shifter with a bench front seat. And because it was the mid-2000's, I had these taillights

The audio system doesn’t catch FM channels very well, I guess that’s a downer considering you can’t connect your phone and stream your favorite Spotify playlist.

I just picked up a used car that had the black plate holder bolted on.  I was worried about the bolt holes, but after a week or two the sharp edges wear off and they start to blend in

Fuck these guys, but, this is a car site, so:

There’s pride to keeping an old car on the road.  At least that’s what I keep telling myself when I am working on my Silverado (‘00 with 225k miles that is currently getting the rear suspension overhauled, then a new radiator, then a new diff gasket, then...)

We used to do this as kids in our basement (my dad had a projector through his work). I can’t wait until my kids are a little older and do it on the side of my garage. Or even better, hook up the old N64 and play Lifesize Mario Kart
