I have one in my truck. It’s a 2000 that I bought 2 years ago and this was the first accessory I picked up for it. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find them anymore, but of course Amazon has them

Test drove a 4 cylinder when I was TJ shopping years ago. Opted for the 6 (RIP). 4 cylinder is CP at any price
The Pontiac has been in the family since new. It did have its engine rebuilt at 90k miles because my sister-in-law drove it through a 3 foot deep “puddle” but that isn’t the car’s fault. Other than that I had to replace the steering rack ($150 DIY) and the AC decided to stop working this summer
I currently have a 2006 G6 with 145k miles and a 2000 Silverado approaching 235k and I would trust either to drive me across the country. Is that good enough to match your Honda and Toyota longevity?
My wife thinks the Durango looks more like a minivan. That was pretty much her reasoning. Also, the Jeep is a Jeep and has the cache that comes along with it
When I had a 10 year old Wrangler, full coverage was only $40 a month. I can’t imagine an even older Cherokee could be much more
I get it, I just went the opposite way. My household growing up was anti-american cars (bad experiences in the past I guess). My driveway now that I am an adult is all “american” cars. A mild form of rebellion
Can I recommend an early 2000's Silverado? I picked one up a few years ago with the 5.3l for $2,500 (>200k miles) and it just keep chugging along
Dad’s car is the one that keeps running. Because Mom gets the nice car because Dad doesn’t want her stranded on the side of the road and daycare is too expensive for another car payment

Sounds about right. I am driving around in a 13 year old GM sedan (and a 19 year old GM truck on the weekends) because daycare costs about as much as a car payment per week
Single digits is pretty bad. I tow~5k lbs around Pennsylvania with my Silverado every once in a while and it still gets me 12-13 mpg and that’s with the 5.3 and a 4 speed auto. Although without it load it only gets 15, so there is a trade-off
The steel gray, $25,000ish tester I drove early on didn’t even have navigation, which I think is kind of a crime for any new car in 2019
How’s the turbo 4 in the varied driving situations you will encounter versus the competitions NA V6's? (I may be in the market in a year or 2)
Part of my job is bookkeeping for HOAs and I was pretty skeptical about the whole foreclosure thing too. What is more likely is that they will put a lien on his house for any unpaid fees
The second generation Grand Cherokee with the 4 speed auto actually had 5 gears. It used a different 2nd gear for upshifts vs. downshifts. In 2001 they upgraded it to a 5 speed but it actually had 6 gears (same thing with 2nd gear)
But then it still takes a few weeks to physically receive the title. At least when I sold the car, the buyers wanted the title in hand
Might vary by state. I had a pay off a lien on a car I was selling in order to be able to hand over the title at the time of sale
who knew a used Jeep Wrangler was a hard car to sell?
Is the bed big enough for someone who does a lot of house/yard work? I currently have an aging Silverado (235k+ miles) with the 6.5 ft bed and I am weary about anything smaller
