It costs me less than $1,000 per year (including tires and basic maintenance) to keep 2 aging cars (‘00 Silverado & ‘06 Pontiac G6) on the road and they are well past 90k miles. Find me a car payment to match that

I have an ‘00 Silverado and the rockers are half gone and the rest is crumbling away (in their defense, the truck has >200k miles). If I have time over the summer it might be a good excuse to learn how to weld
I had a TJ until last year and full coverage on it was cheaper than just liability on any other car I have owned. I can’t speak for the new ones though
Those Toyotas are really grounded to the ground
Disagree. Had a ‘98 Blazer as a first car. It wasn’t perfect but it was more than acceptable given its age. And now I have a ‘00 Silverado with >250k miles that has proven to be exceptionally excellent
6,500 pounds is a significant load to put on a trailer hitch
Even the Silverados of that timeframe are pretty cheap. I picked up a 2000 with 4x4, extended cab, and the 5.3 for $2,500 back in Feb. It does have >200k miles, but it runs great and tows 6k lbs (that is the most I have done) with ease
The convertible you take ON the beach
As much as my wife hates the idea of a Wrangler pickup, I think she hates my old Silverado even more so this will be welcomed with open arms! Although I am disappointed the stamped bed didn’t make it’s way from the various concepts

We had some HVAC vent covers hanging around (they are basically just big white magnets). Cut one to whatever size you want and write “Clean” on it. When you run the dishwasher stick this on the front. When you empty the dishwasher, put it on the side of the fridge or any other magnetic surface
I had a 2005 Wrangler that was totaled recently. It was in decent shape with ~110k miles and my insurance payout was a little over $12k. I had purchased it 8 years earlier for $13.5k. Insane resale
PA has that same law
I actually think most states require it, but I am thankful I live in PA which does not
I always thought these were too big, but had a soft spot for the H3. I just went on autotrader to see how cheaply I could relive this dream, and holy shit these things hold their value well. Like Jeep Wrangler well
I have family out there, and IIRC it is every 2 years starting when the car is 6 years old
I keep a pair of sunglasses in each car. They are always good to have around
Does this fill up a tire in a reasonable amount of time? I received a portable air pump a few years ago as a gift and it took ~20 minutes to add 3 psi. At that point I could just drive to Wawa and use their free air

I have an 8 month old so have recent experience with all the classes you get to take, and from what I remember they still don’t understand SIDS and they can’t explain anything about it, but for whatever reason sharing a room seems to help at least statistically. That being said, our little guy was in his own room at…
I generally go to RockAuto and buy whatever part has the heart next to it
