I always assumed it was because people put their garage door opener on their visors anyway, so this way it is in a familiar location
I think you need to re-examine your reliability biases. I have an ‘00 Silverado with 217k miles, an ‘06 Pontiac G6 with 130k miles, and a ‘12 Liberty with 80k miles. I would trust all 3 of them for a cross country trip tomorrow
I believe the correct response is “and with you spirit” now
I just picked up a 2000 Silverado with over 200k miles and immediately put it to work towing 6,000lbs across PA so currently things are good, but I am sure they will go bad at some point in the not too distant future and my wife will get to tell me how she warned me this would happen
fix the Jeep, you’d be investing in a vehicle known to have the best resale value in the business
a Ford Raptor, a truck that somehow—with its turbo V6 and 10-speed transmission—managed to score an abysmal 9.4 MPG while towing the little Willys on a U-Haul trailer.
Police around me have base model (but still crew cab) F-150s that they occasionally use for traffic enforcement
Now that I am comparing before and after pictures, it is mostly just the steering wheel. It’s not as drastic as I thought it was
Seconded. We have a ‘12 (so it has the redesigned interior that is much nicer) and has been been a champ in the snow and on the beach (with All Terrain tires) and it is a great highway cruiser. We only have 70k miles, but have not had any problems
Wow, I was not expecting that to sound as good as it did
I use one almost every day in my car and have never had a problem

Most TJs have rear drums. They aren’t exactly high-speed machines, so it isn’t really an issue
The CRZ was available with a manual...
Serious Question:
My first thought is a KK Liberty. Only the top part of the taillights below light up, the bottom section is just reflectors
I have a 2005 and the only things that went bad were the Oil Pump Drive Assembly (search OPDA on an of the forums and I sure you will find info on it) and the Throw Out Bearing in the transmission, but I have the 6-speed so you probably don’t have to worry about it
Holy shit, 8.9%? You could have moved across the border to PA and be paying 3.07 and still have seasons
I think the problem might be your eyes. I have a TJ that still has the stock bulbs in it and have no problem seeing at night
You can usually roll that down-payment into the monthly payments so you have 0 up front cost. It’s just a way for them to advertise lower rates
