You get better at it. I can get to top down/doors off in probably less than 3 minutes (assuming the top is warm). The hardest part is putting the side windows back in

Unfortunately, there are no good tricks to the side windows (which I find to be the biggest PITA to put back in)

The idea is to markedly improve obstacle visibility off-road and generally make it easier to shoot nazis from the front passenger seat

Pro-tip: Don’t actually take the rear window out. Get some straps that allow you to roll it up. Then you don’t have to find a place to store it either

I don’t think it looks bad at all, especially on the Terrain since you have the chrome on the wheels and the brightwork in the headlights as well. It actually looks more thought out and properly executed (ha! get it?) than 100% black

My wife and I have the same problem, I am cold at night and she is a furnace. I have learned to sleep with more clothes on and an extra blanket on my side of the bed, and if I still get cold, I just move closer to her

and car maintenance costs

There were a couple years in a row that my Jeep needed serious work to pass inspection ($750+/year). My wife kept saying that I needed to trade it in for something newer. I kept telling her that $750/year is waaaay less than $300/month. She just scoffs and changes the subject

Two of my cars are 4-auto’s and with both I wish they had a 5th. My Jeep is a 6-man and I think that is plenty. So my vote goes to 5 or 6

Praise be Corolla. Praise its power of absorption

Outside found out that the stamped-steel tailgate will not be one of those things

This video makes me feel better about heading up to Rausch Creek in my stock TJ (along with friends in a YJ, and JKU) and not being totally overmatched

Been there, done that. New rule is dogs will be rescues that are already fixed and at least mostly house trained

My sister-in-law did this (or something similar, I wasn’t there). Between that and the general lack of maintenance, it was determined she couldn’t be trusted with a nice-ish car. So now I have a Pontiac with a rebuilt engine that runs like new (insurance paid for the rebuild and I spend many weekends fixing everything

But even if she slammed the pedal, it still should have worked, right?

4th Gear:

After seeing this and the Renegade-truck, I have decided the Wrangler pickup (WHEN, not if!!) needs an old school flareside/stepside/whatever bed that these have. MAKE IT HAPPEN, JEEP!

I question their reliability/dependability metrics. Bluetooth not pairing won’t leave you stranded on the side of the road. From the posted article:

Uh, it’s pretty big across the tailgate
