@dotnsk: haha, guilty. i checked, and it isn't available for macs; like you said - idiotic. although, if made for osx, i can see it being as much of a crapfest as itunes is on windows. itunes works great on macs, but windows optimization is horrid.

@dotnsk: zune software. that's the right combination of pretty/versatile, though to my knowledge it's still only windows-compatible? i'm just saying, after ten years you would think the look would change more than having a few menu options added.

@VeLAWLceraptor: it's little more than a glorified database. seems somewhat antithetical to the company's ethos, what with focusing on polished products and all. metadata is a pain to manage also, but that's beyond the point of the interface.
