sam biddle: "herpa derpa, someone likes something i don't like"

here's something that helps me, as far as regular bills go ...

gizmodo lost a lot of their best talent over the past few months. 'whineyness' is the correct term for the general feel of most random articles now.

this picture adequately conveys my apathy toward any gizmodo article any more.

MOAR PROMOSHUNZ!!

here's a question i haven't found an answer to yet: why not t-mobile and at&t nexus s phones? i mean, it probably won't be long before the app is either released officially, or hacked unofficially, but still - por qué?

there's some work being done on galaxy s/nexus s phones right now which could result in dual-booting. it's based on the particular chipset (hummingbird), which i think has relations to the iphone's chipset. it's based on a custom bootloader which is used in place of samsung's bootloader on these phones

only if you reply and also have a star.

sounds like a driver issue, firstly. look up drivers for the eris, and make sure they're installed on the computer. secondly, custom roms are pretty well polished for older devices like the eris - iirc, kaosfroyo is a popular one.

that's how hp7.2 does it. i watched it in 3d, and was impressed with the restraint shown to keep it from having spells wizzing by your head. it's very comparable to ts3 and avatar in that it lends depth to the screen.

i went with a friend to buy a '05 honda civic. we're both early 20s, and probably looked like suckers. i'd checked out kelley blue book and NADA values on it, and gotten a fair idea of what it was worth. i told the guy what i'd like to pay for it ($6000 base, plus whatever fees). he came back at me with an offer of

i have been summoned.

follow the money/pageviews. these hijinks are why i check the gawker network maybe once a week.

you can post it in #tips

maybe that's it - never had to pull a battery on the bb. i'd love me some decent battery life on android though -_-

first bootup on a rooted android is due to the dalvik cache being rebuilt.

from dotdotdotpaul, an unapproved commenter i can't approve for whatever reason:

because, of course, google bought android after the iphone was released. and android wasn't in development until after iOS was released.
