I fear using my mask (3d printed), which doesn’t have a valve, will be looked at as though it does have a valve. It’s closer to a gas mask - it seals along my face* and has a round outlet that a filter goes in. But just looking at it you’d probably think it’s a one-way valve.

More of a reason to drink unfiltered/”live” beer.  You do not need to inject C02 into beer to get it carbonated (aka, force carbonating).  The fermentation process can produce the needed CO2.

I wonder how useful 3d printing a mask will work out. I’ve got a good model that I can make some disposable filters. My concern is sterilizing after the fact (since plastic is bad for that kind of stuff).
