Yeah that's pretty much the consensus I think I've come to. It wasn't rape, but it was still a shitty thing to do to someone.

I love seeing Mike finally having his moment. I used to write reviews at the same website as him and he was working hard at it even back then.

One of those sad facts of criticism these days is that if you don't want to be singled out as irrelevant or accused of being a shill, you kind of have to follow the hivemind. Which sounds counterintuitive, but at some point the judgment of a good album by someone who is culturally disliked becomes some kind of witch

That sounds like an intro sample to build a beat around.

Maggot Brain is the album jam band fans put on to prove they aren't racist in between String Cheese Incident and Umphrey's Mcgee.

He also built most of his songs, RHCP and solo, out of jamming and improv, so there's likely a lot of subconscious stuff going on. Frusciante is a really unselfish guitarist, he's always looking for what serves the song moreso than his own prowess, and people jump on his dick for it. He deserves better.

I guess I had only half remembered her saying in Playboy that she'd probably need therapy after that and would never do anything explicit again, but she did say she didn't regret it.

So she did at least know before the scene was shot but, reasonably, felt too intimidated to complain. Although she wasn't physically penetrated and did, under duress, consent to film the scene, the disturbing part is the director attempting to make it feel like a genuine assault. Here I'm unfortunately reminded of

CENAHOSTSLOL

And now it's just Starmaker Bolin outside the Golden Corral trying to sell you Beats out of his trunk.

I really thought he'd have replaced Michael Strahan on Live with Kelly.

Bling Bling Buchanan!

I feel like because Kevin Smith is just such an indelible figure in pop culture, people are adamant about putting a spotlight on him, and the fact that he aims low with his stuff and is always self deprecating makes those same people eager to pile on. Yes, his movies are more popular than most amateurish looking dick

Me too. He pulled off that tone more ably than anyone could have expected, Carlin was stellar in it, and at parts it was funny in the way Smith's best stuff is. Not a crucial piece of cinema or anything but there was more good than bad in it.

This inspired me to throw Little Green Bag on and play drums to it. Nice little wandering shuffle beat, it's fun. weird the things you never notice until you try playing a song as opposed to just listening.

I don't understand Iron Chef's popularity compared to other food shows, the food they make is so high-cuisine I don't know what it would taste like, doesn't engage the senses at all.

I feel like there was a whole subgenre of 90s kids movie tearjerkers but besides this and The Cure I can't think of what else. The Good Son isn't really the same thing.

I think you have a point, but from AV Club's perspective it's either wait to review it, don't review it at all, or I guess attempt to make their reviewer marathon it. From a consumer standpoint, either wait til the reviews come in or take the risk of buying it without foreknowledge. It's a shitty practice from

I'm gonna end up giving the first game a replay, which I never thought I would because it's so damn hard.

Normally I'd hate a possible GOAT like AJ having this ongoing program with a comedy act like Ellsworth but they really seem to be making it work and it does keep AJ from getting stuck in the 50/50 grind. I'm really just glad AJ made it to this level.
