I'm not really sure about that. I know bands actually make decent money selling vinyl at their shows. Could be the same for comedians.

They were a Gilman Street band, their credentials are unquestionable. What's funny is their releases on Lookout were probably poppier and more melodic than their first major label albums.
So now he's gonna go to LU and play a literal robot, probably.
Beat me to it. What Roman is missing is squeezing a coconut until it pops.
I'd love it if someone else redid that feature.
I give not a fuck how mainstream it was, The Lord Is a Monkey and LA are some of my favorites ever.
So is this all just speculation on Jay's part or is there some kind of knowledge about Queen Latifah? Is she just heterosexual but private and that's why she isn't out?
They have "Hear This", just by the writers. I'd be down for that feature by random kinda-but-not-really famous people.
I didn't like that either, but it didn't make the kind of lasting impression that the insect did. Plus the gag with the insect was Homer not knowing a Bible verse. Oscar was just a witless reference.
No you were right from the jump, but a lot of biases showed with that one.
That Martin guitar gave its life for a scene that should have been cut.
That poor movie. It was a little too facile to appeal to serious filmgoers, and too mature to snare Smith's usual audience, and got unfairly written off by casual viewers because of Bennifer backlash. It had heart but no one will ever love it. It's still not as bad as its made out to be.
Damn that's harsh. I haven't seen it in ages so I'm sure it doesn't hold up, but as a teenager I thought it carried itself well despite some thin characters like Chris Cooper. My opinion was probably skewed by supple teenage Thora Birch tits though.
Should have scrolled down more. Don't mind me.
Doug Stanhope once did the same thing when some college kids were protesting his show. He joined the protest without anyone knowing who he was and then a guy came up that had tickets and yelled in his face, not realizing it was him.
Regardless of quality, I hope this movie does well enough that the NEXT Key & Peele movie gets made. I would love a college football spoof with them both playing all the characters.
Bleeding Edge was very much about modern New York culture as refracted through California sensibilities. The tech aspect is just the setting. For some reason I think people are over-conditioned to believe anything relative to technology is "about" that. I felt the same about Her.
I can't get into DeLillo, something about him loses me. Whereas I love Franzen, excepting Purity.
I clearly meant every single guitarist playing every plausible style. If you have one guitarist noodling all over, in the kind of loose style Jack White plays in, and a drummer doing a lot of fills and different patterns, it can work, but there needs to be attention paid between both about where the rhythm is, or you…
I've been working Monday nights and haven't been able to watch. Are they calling him Luke Gallows or Doc Gallows? If they're using Luke that really doesn't bode very well for Luke Harper.
