That's amazing.
That's amazing.
Those were my glory days, too. So much great music between 06-08.
I've played drums with just one guitarist and sometimes you really have to keep it simple so as not to lose the beat. It isn't impossible to do a lot of fills and flourishes but if you have a looser improv-heavy guitarist like Jack, they might rely on that simple 4/4 beat to keep the song on the road. So even if that…
I have just finally said my farewells to Walter and Jesse. What a brilliant, painful, exhilarating, heartbreaking, hilarious, bleak, engrossing show this was.
That sounds like something I could dig into.
You could just get a Strat and it'll stay in tune on its own
Oh I will. I've written reviews before but I don't know that I could pull off reviewing comedy like that, seems like a tall order.
I think you're probably wrong, only because nowadays there are lots of deep and interesting comics getting specials on Comedy Central, Epix, and Netflix; whereas I think the majority of stand up on tv during W's reign was reruns of the Blue Collar movies and Jeff Dunham.
Hey man not to criticize your writing but you might wanna pull back on quoting the comic so much when reviewing a comedy special. I know that's really hard to do but halfway through o had to stop reading just so I didn't feel like I saw half the special before I got to actually see it. Just my two cents.
I'll confess to being a basic bitch Prince fan; I'm ashamed that it took losing him to realize I need to dig into the deeper catalog and check out some of his more idiosyncratic stuff.
I just watched this for the first time. This was fucking gut wrenching. I really thought for a minute Walt was going to kill Holly. Considering the obsession on this show with hurting and killing children I thought that was how it would end.
While I agree the reductive stereotype of the hippie stoner moron is played out, I still enjoy the stoner comedy subgenre enough to not really care.
I like to imagine it ended with Majestic burning down, and their foray to the beach with Albert Brooks was just a cool little webseries on the side.
Have you seen Flirting with Disaster? There's a part with acid that goes along those lines.
I always feel like if I'm stuck listening to the radio, I enjoy Rise Against more than the typical butt rock, but they don't compare to anything that's actually good.
Man you just made me imagine Maroon 5 doing "Goo Goo Muck" by the Cramps and now I'm sad.
The best job in music has to be drumming for Maroon 5. Nothing challenging, you get to be richer than all hell, and you're otherwise anonymous enough that you can live a normal life. I'd do it.
Jesus fucking Christ I'm not writing an A&E biography on the guy, I'm going on half remembered information. The fuck is wrong with you?
See? I learned something.
STOP USING THE INTERNET TO MAKE EVERYONE DUMBER! Seriously you wonder why the economy is hurting so bad. How much time do you think this took? Do you know what kind of valuable things you could have learned on the internet in that time? For fucks sake. We don't deserve to survive as a species.
