What’s to repair? The drivetrain is an electric motor. No transmission, starter motor, fuel pump, exhaust system, fuel tank, spark plugs, oil, filters, O2 sensors, valves, cams, driveshaft, etc etc. How often do you have your blender repaired.

The terrible ride quality of run-flats is probably the most common complaint BMW service managers hear. Ironic they’re being used as a selling point. They are horrible. BMW replaced mine on my 545i under warranty they were so bad. They sounded like a freight train at highways speeds.

Manufacturers claimed fuel economy doesn’t mean a whole lot. Supposedly my ecoboost F150 gets 19 MPG combined but so far after 26k miles I average 13.

It’s nice to know that cost is no object for this company that has lost money every single year of it’s existence. Keep up the good work, maybe if and when they ever actually show a profitable quarterly statement they will go for 30 weeks.
