As another person that grew up in the same sort of church, well said. These churches drive fear into their congregations and that fear keeps them from ever being really happy. I spent the first 22 years of my life (I’m 38) fearing hell, fearing Satan and even fearing God. That is no way to live.

I do like all the boss fights, but most of them are trivial if you have rings to spare and because of this, you can sometimes ignore the core boss fight mechanics. Oh I don’t think the studio in Japan has put out any orignal games. But they do work in tandem with other Ubisoft studios on their flagship titles and also localize for Japan.

Ubisoft has studios all around the world - even in Japan. They have also been around as long as Square has. It wouldn’t surprise me if they know many of the others in the industry and have ways to do things like this.
