I think the writer is saying that it would be a better loved movie if it weren't "A COEN BROTHERS MOVIE", the follow-up to No Country For Old Men and a spiritual successor to The Big Lebowski.  If it had just been another low expectations summer comedy, it would probably have gotten more of a cult following.

They average around seven bucks per thousand views.  If every one of his six hundred thousand followers watches each video once, that's $4200 per half-assed vlog.  It looks like he cranks out a couple a month, and often gets his views up into the millions - he's probably clearing $200,000 a year stealing jokes.
