The Impreza line of Subarus (Impreza, Crosstrek, Forester) is the smaller more nimble version of their cars. Meant more for handling, gas mileage, maneuverability, and easier to park.

The WRX doesn’t have particularly good ground clearance.  It’s low to the ground like a traditional Sedan (google says 4.9 inches).  However other Subarus (Crosstrek, Outback, Forester) all have reasonable SUV ground clearance at 8.7 inches
