case against: $12k for a 19y.o. car is a lot
There are generally 2 types of SUV, and they are geared towards different types of performance:
Vehicles are more likely to sell better if they are called SUV as opposed to Crossover. Car manufacturers will call them whatever they can, in order to sell more vehicles. Classifications are generally meaningless.
This is the easiest one yet, Wrangler with a hard top. Just put some non-flashy off-road cladding/bumpers on it, and no one will want to hit it with their car. If it gets dinged, the stucture of the car will be fine, and it will add “character” to the bumpers.
The town I grew up in would do stuff like this all the time. I once got pulled over for having my fog-lights on (normal thing for a wrangler) and the cop said it was illegal since “it wasnt raining”. But this was also an area that had a ‘cinderella law’ (under 18 can’t drive after 11pm?) and it was midnight when this…
The problem with interior dome light is that it can be considered a distraction to OTHER drivers; which is why you are likely to get pulled over. The cops will then do a full inspection of you/your car, because its an indication that something else is probably wrong.
2012 grand cherokee (5,000 lb towing) 87k miles, just under $10k
I use Apple Pay, there’s a gas station in my town that is tied for cheapest price and accepts Apple Pay; so I go there every sunday night to fill up for the week
aka DMV Worker
Towing distance: from start of tow all the way to the closest charging station (if you’re lucky)
is this the front or back?
in summation:
Toyota Camry, Honda Civic, Cherokee w/ I-6
I get the charm, and it definitely does serve a purpose.
While you’re not wrong, they can’t sell them for the same price as it’s competitors (midsize pickups)
“This is a priority for us” ~executive speaking about updating a truck that they haven’t update for FIFTEEN years
Phillies fan here; somehow I agree
First option is the Subaru BRZ, then WRX, then GTI; OR you could go a different route and get a Wrangler. Different kind of fun, but still very much fun
I’ve driven both auto/stick; yeah their not Fast, but they are fast enough to have fun. It looks awesome and handles great. It leaves you wanting just a little more, but for THAT you have to pay more (or sacrifice reliability/age)
