First, Subaru’s being loud just isn’t a thing.

Forester’s aren’t any noticeably louder (or less loud) then comparable SUV’s. This just isn’t a thing.

If you have shitty tires (or let them get old/bald), then yes it matters very little what the car is; when driving in the snow.

The concept “lets take a Subaru, only make it bigger” wasnt a terrible idea; its just the execution of that idea was dreadful.
