Disney owns Fox (which had rights to Fantastic Four), so I think those issues are clear now.

    WARWOKS!

Yeaaaah, no, it’s not for kids. Teens, sure. But bloody dismemberment and death isn’t for young children.

    It’s no problem, actually. It’s just a bit of super-powered fun. :-)

I’m guessing it was actually Rocket but she doesn’t recall he’s about 2 feet tall, male, and covered in fur.

They nailed Joey’s “How you doin’?” face!

This! And $18,500 is a PITTANCE when it comes to marketing budgets--esp. in that many locations. Dude got some serious R.O.I.

I’d wager this is 100% on Netflix (or any other given streaming service) because they wan’t producers to keep churning out stuff while it’s hot. They’re too jumpy about things cooling off and seeing monthly views slow, across the board.

    What no Wookiee cookies?

A.k.a., the real reason arcades died!

This is an awesome story! Have your star, you’ve earned. :-)

How does a guy with a previous assault record walk out without bail?

It’s more likely to be an episode or two of the new Marvel What If show.

I recall reading somewhere that he directed some second unit work to help keep things on schedule.

Is there any chance at all they could sprinkle Swamp Thing characters back in to other DCU shows? Or a crossover?

I’ll chalk this one up to ‘under deadline’ since I’m pretty sure Beth knows the basics!

Update: An earlier version of this post misidentified the telepathic squid as a telepathic octopus (io9 regrets the error).

As someone who worked for a PR dept of a professional organization that held huge annual meetings (tens of thousands of members) this is a HUGE no-no. You protect the names and contact info of all your journalism colleagues from industry PR. That’s not just common courtesy, it would be career suicide/industrial faux

[Raises hand] If you’re only getting digital you don’t actually own it. It can be revoked/deleted at any time. Disc is the way to go. I prefer blu-ray to 4k which isn’t necessary to enjoy a film.
