You get bonus points for using a still from the holiday special!

Correction: A previous version of this story stated Rebecca Jordan was playing the adult version of Newt. In fact, Breanna Watkins played her. We regret the error.

    “I haven’t seen the show”

Word is that he had more input on the character this time around than last. He liked working with GDT, but he’s said that interpretation was more juvenile than his comic version.

YES, the MPR Raccoon made the list! Sorta wish Minnesota Public Radio reporter, Tim Nelson, had been mentioned (tweet embedded?) as he’s the dude responsible for the #MPRraccoon hashtag and all the up-to-date reports (pulling all nighters just to satiate the public’s desire for updates!).

Uh, you seem to have forgotten who runs most of Hollywood. Women are definitely making inroads at all levels, but (white) dudes still outnumber them by far in studio leadership and investment backer roles.

I thought it was fantastic. Dark without being grimdark or dreary. A really hard feat to pull off (apparently) these days!

RE: Harvey “murdering” his brother. Did he though? I mean, the guy’s soul had been eaten. His body was walking around for DAYS without it.

At best, he put down a zombie. We wouldn’t say the same of any of the main characters on The Walking Dead for murdering the dead, would we?

It’s outside the heliosphere, but still a long ways from the Oort Cloud, which is still technically part of the system, yes? So why do they say it’s in “interstellar space”? Isn’t the Oort Cloud still bound to our sun’s gravity?

Well Bakshi and Frazetta collaborated on several projects, which is likely where he got the idea to portray the Nazgul.

It was based on a Frank Frazetta piece:

It’s essentially a Twilight Zone episode before TZ was a thing.

I totally forgot this was coming out tomorrow! I need to pick it up!

Yeah, I think the days of the long gif recaps are over. :-(

I can’t pick just one, so forgive the long comment—but I can break them out into a few different categories...

    You bastard. (Starred, of course!)

Iron Man 2 - Even the worst Marvel movie, which I think this is, is notable because it adds something to the overall universe: notably Don Cheadle as War Machine, along with a few other wrinkles. (Also on Amazon.)

Good to know, I was about to ask the same. Thank you Charles!

Yeah, but it’s not about the payday. Actors don’t ever go into acting for the PAY. It takes years of work (or EXTREME luck in casting if very young) to reach that level.

I feel sorry for humans who have to go through shitty things, regardless of how much they get paid.
