Or instead of the last of a few, maybe there’s literally tons of them...and it’s STILL not enough!

    Fast Times at Hellmouth High?

True, but that’s also kinda’ the point. She sticks out from everyone else. I’d have rather seen something akin to what’s being used for DC Super Hero Girls (not a literal translation, but something a little more in line with her aesthetic without being objectifying).

I think the casting is great! The make-up is terrible and doesn’t do anything to highlight Starfire’s other-worldliness. The costume is bad—but more because it doesn’t make use of her signature colors. (Let’s face it, apart from the kid-friendly versions, the scraps of fabric they call her costume is pretty much male

Thanks, I appreciate the summary. I did do some googling but there’s so much out there it was getting confusing.

Gah, I’m confused. So this Cernovich dude, faked the tweets about Gunn? Not that it matters. I just can’t keep track of what’s going on.

Ah-ha! I really appreciate this post because I skipped half of those stories since they didn’t reference “trailer” in the headline.

That sounds cool! The funny thing is, you could get a series-worth of material from a time jump that big. I just don’t see a 5-year jump being enough to sustain more than a season of material.

The project has now been cancelled, and all 868 backers have been refunded their money.

I’m not asking for Teen Titans Go, FFS, but it’d be nice if my kid could actually watch a few episodes. This is just bleh.

Had this movie been released, oh, maybe 10 years or so ago it might have looked far more original than it does now, given (as mentioned) the video games Call of Duty and Castle Wolfenstein.

    He’s 15 inches tall.

That’s been done as a series of one-offs for a few years now. They had one for Free Comic Book Day (I want to say, last year?).

If this is aimed at kids, I can see mine loving it (age 5). But Dynamite isn’t exactly a kid-friendly publisher. They put a lot of ads for their more riske’ comics in everything they print. Not sure if they ever figured out they’re sorta’ shooting themselves in the foot that way.

    CHIA SOPHIA, OR NOTHING.

Man I miss the Postal Apocalypse mailbag! When is the postman coming back?

There’s no sign that any other organisms have been capable of building civilizations. Dolphins can’t do it—they can’t build electrical devices underwater!
