This! Also, let’s stop telling little girls to give someone a hug or a kiss. No. They don’t need to do that. If you would’t do it to someone you didn’t know REALLY well, stop asking a small human who’s trying to learn how to trust other human beings to do it.

Congrats Gita! There’s nothing quite like running a game for friends—it’s exhilarating and challenging, but loads of fun!

4th edition didn’t require it, but it was heavily implied it would “make things easier”.

I love all fun gadgets etc. that the hobby has made. And I would love to play a game with them. But in all honesty, you don’t need ANY of it. D&D is best when it’s in your imagination. Anything that takes away from that is doing a disservice to the game’s best benefit—theater of the mind.

Ooo—what Edgar Rice Burroughs stuff is going P.D.?

I admire your optimism. But it assumes they hired respectable journalists in the first place.

That said, eight is a good Star Wars base-age.

FACT: I’ve yet to see a single tattoo that turned out as good as the tattoo getter said it would.

Indeed. I mean, it’s not like they lost their son or anything.

Borderline? No, 45 is full on obese. I doubt his golf swing has caught up to the change in his center of gravity.

Darn—it’s already over. There’s fewer than a dozen still on sale. :-(

For some reason this doesn’t come up under “Marvel” when I search Kinja deal posts.

That was the whole point though. Re-watch those monologues—he was talking about how families normally couldn’t afford that kind of surgery out of pocket.
