If it’s too dark then your theater (as they often do) cheaped out and is dimming the projector to save on lamps. It was crystal clear and though in shadows, perfectly lit in our theater.

Your kinja handle is sublime!
I will NEVER tire of seeing that. :-D
Don’t forget the abandoned “Wonder Woman Lives” starring everyone’s favorite Superman:
I counter that argument with exhibit A: Star Wars.
Still not sure how Comcast would manage.. anything.. if they buy Fox and owe $60B to the banks.
I’m super perplexed by io9 sometimes. Isn’t this more than just grimdark? I mean the entire 40k universe is sorta built on space racism tropes and ultra violence. So Marvel gets an (entirely deserved) article about how they omit the backgrounds of LGBT characters in films, but WH40k gets a pass? Weird.
No it’s aimed at my daughter (age 4.5) and it’s a bit TOO wacky. I do appreciate that they’ve attempted to give them some ethnicity and change up the look between them. But it’s too far removed from the characters she loves. Reminds me of the 90s when everything had to be “EXTREME!”.
I just watched the Disney/Favreau version two nights ago and found it really good.

I love all fun gadgets etc. that the hobby has made. And I would love to play a game with them. But in all honesty, you don’t need ANY of it. D&D is best when it’s in your imagination. Anything that takes away from that is doing a disservice to the game’s best benefit—theater of the mind.
Agreed—there’s plenty of poli-sci to go with the sci-fi. A true space opera, in any regard!
The Expanse is easily the best scifi show on TV but also one of the best in general, in the last few years. The writing is superb and the cast: incredible.
This is why we have youtube:
Kiwis are usually people from New Zealand. Are you eating people?
Nothing beats my fave from a few years ago. I have it framed at home:
Damn. Well, then it’s back to remaking Willow 2: Eldritch Bugaloo.
Agreed about the Tolkien-istic aspects. Fine then. Disney execs: give us a Black Cauldron live action remake!
Quadumvirate? ;-)
