I agree with the other commentors—the headline of this post is a huge spoiler. Especially since it was heavily telegraphed in commercials and trailers that War Machine might die.

Also a really good book. If you liked the Activity, you should check out The Sheriff of Babylon, same artist (Mitch Gerads) and a new writer who’s a former CIA agent.

That was a fantastic run. I’m not even a Punisher fan, but the art was spot-on for that story.

Too late—you lose—you already came to the internet! Banality wins! BANALITY WIIIIIIINNNNSS!!!!

Lego movie and Deadpool were put out in February not because they were expected to fail, but simply because they would have a better chance to succeed. You claimed that “if it were any good it would be released in may” which I think is simply untrue.

There is no evidence that the studio thought Deadpool wouldn’t

    He makes beautiful music videos.

That hasn’t been true for years. Other than January—a big film can succeed in just about any month (if it’s good and has good marketing). Case in point:

Time to reboot that Star Frontiers campaign!

    Or Austrailian.

The term probably doesn’t carry much in the way of an insult by itself any more, but back in Biblical and Medieval eras it quickly put you on society’s lowest rung.

Considering how awesome the other designs are for Future Quest and Wacky Races—and how awesome up-and-coming artists like Evan Shaner are... it’s too bad Lee’s Scooby got the headline.

You have a chance to highlight really wonderful new talent (please use it!).

    This thread:

This is an old article now, but it’s worth updating to make a correction: Superman creators Seigel and Shuster confirmed that John Carter was an influence on Superman’s origin:

Childish? Have you seen Kirby’s take on the Surfer? Buscema? They’re about as wackdoodle-rainbow-bending as you can get. Allred—a superb artist in his own right—is in good company.

    Oh Nippon, never change.

Seems like this whole series could have happened after the movie came out anyway. It wasn’t necessary for us to immediately know Poe’s parentage or their relationship to the heroes. Nobody knew anything about Kenobi’s frienship with Anakin before Star Wars, so why is this so important?

    Edited: My point being, there’s

Luke seems to be using the Force to supress a sneeze here.

Kimmel’s made a career on being kind of an ass. Sometimes that’s funny, but being mean all the time isn’t really “fun”.

From the sounds of it, it seems like they’ve changed the scope of the game and the “what” that’s being delivered. That seems like a pretty big problem. The FTC has yet to really weigh in on crowdfunding campaigns, but if this were a business they’d be facing lawsuits and possibly penalties.

True you may have “known the risks” but I think everyone agrees that the risks shouldn’t include delivering something other than what was promised.
