This episode is the perfect example of what an adaptation should be. it doesn’t need to be 1 for 1 and shouldn’t be. Take what works, fix what doesn’t, and take risks when you think you have something really good.

The reveal of Jay’s last name, and Red’s reaction to it in context, got me.

So a Netflix show. End on a cliffhanger and canceled after 1 season and then have the mighty algorithm recommend it to everyone?  

I loved how the normally sweet, optimistic Kitty was the one to see her daughter for who she was.

The episode where Eric goes to work with Kitty at the hospital was one of my favourites of the original series. 

Nice to see recognition DJR (and Kitty!) was basically the secret weapon of the original. Far and away the best and funniest character; followed by Red.

Obi Wan was... fine. It was neat seeing the familiar faces, and the story itself was good enough, but there’s just something lost in the threat of the villains. Anikan/Hayden was just that never was that threatening, and his decent into the dark side was always one of the weakest points in the story of Ep 3, so
