The original show started in 1976, believe it or not.

I laughed out loud when I got to that part.  My first thought was no way...did they actually do that?  Amazing.

So many hot takes...so very many....

You know, I always hared it when Soul Calibur did this (and they have for many years), and it still sucks. Of course Spawn =/= Spider-Man by any stretch anyway.

Bart is the only one where I just thought, this is way off.  The rest are wonderfully disturbing.

I LOLed at Aizen and Kaiba :)

^^^ Nail on the head.

Syndrome literally murders a bunch of supers, then unleashes his robot into the city knowing it might kill a bunch more.  He fires a rocket on an airplane with no remorse even after finding out there are kids on board.  He created and sold a bunch of weapons to the highest bidder, making his fortune.  He’s pretty bad.

I actually had this happen a couple weeks ago - I’ve never had any dental issues but dang if I didn’t bite down on something hard during a global pandemic! I delayed calling for too long, but it turned out all right. I was more embarrassed about it than anything else. Worst case is that they could just tell you to

Thank you for this article Riley. My church jumped into it with both feet - they’re ironing out the technical problems more and more each week and they’ve been doing a great job. We got about 250 tuned in this week.  It’s still going to be very weird not being able to be there in person on Easter Sunday.

Beautiful, and unsettling.  Nice stuff!

Not where I live - the stores look the same as they have since this started.

Working from home, definitely snacking too much.  I keep wandering over to the kitchen.

Even though I liked the show well enough overall, this definitely bothered me. Especially Icheb and Hugh, which was downright upsetting. What was the point?

I’ve honestly never thought about comparing the two head-to-head before.  Droopy is great though.

Yep - not to mention the codes only last like 30 seconds anyway

Exceptions to every rule - SCUBA isn’t usually pronounced “scuh-bah” even though the U stands for “Underwater.”

You’re pretty good

Something along the lines of it looking better, but ruined some parts of the original game.  Apparently.

The “standard” amount of worked hours in a year is 2080 (40 hours a week times 52 weeks) - so yeah, it would be like doing it as a full time job for a whole year.  The game’s been out since 2001 though, so if you played a few hours every week for that entire time you’d be there.  It’s still crazy to think about.
