This is my view as well. There’s a lot I like about Hollow Knight, but frankly it is just way too hard for me. If I’m spending more time looking at youtube walkthroughs than I am playing the game, it isn’t the right game for me. And even after watching the walkthroughs I mostly still can’t do it.

I feel you, Riley. I want to love that game as much as everyone else, because overall it is really, REALLY well made in nearly every aspect and I love exploration, platforming and boss fights.

My Daughter and I loved the show so much I started buying her the books (for both of us really), and it’s astonishing how faithful the show is.

The books are absolutely stunning in their own right, and offer so many more details to the world that the shows can’t always fit in. I can’t wait to read this one too.
