I guess it makes it a prequel to Wipeout 2097 (which had my favourite soundtrack of the series!)....

you know what? I'd like to disagree about the bigger screen giving a competitive edge... I play on a Projector at home and it makes playing games harder as you have a wider area to pay attention to (but the sheer awesomeness of the experience justifies it :P) whereas playing on a regular TV is easier...

no way, Piranha FTW!

it sounds like he was playing the PS3 game; Wipeout HD, which was released a while back, but is compatible with the new NGP wipeout.

me too, but even so, this is looking like a strong lineup right now...

indeed. I would have been more impressed if dragging extra applications (I refuse to call them apps!) shrunk partitions of the screen further, so you could potentially have a facebook feed, twitter feed, and media playlist tiled on a strip on one side of the screen and then a main window with say excel taking up the

bravo :D

Alien 3 was a different direction, and thats a good thing. Alien 1 was a claustrophobic horror, the sequel was a balls to the wall action movie befitting of the era it was made in whereas the third film once again had a completely different identity to it's predecessors taking the more dramatic thriller route. nothing like the aroma of five more sweaty gamers whilst I make sweet love to polgygons... count me in!

I was in a similar mindset to you, but I'd recommend starting again as a temple knight, and then avoiding the hell out of the valley of defilement until you've gone up a few levels. I restarted the game last week and have been loving it so far.

You'd better not be including Tim Rogers under that blanket remark! *fanboy frothmouth

I used to play online fairly frequently with somebody who worked at Guerilla who let slip the studio was already working on a title for the PS4, and that was months ago... whilst this doesn't mean dev kits have been sneaking around the studios, it does mean that Sony's nearest and dearest are likely aware of what the

I've been toying with the idea of getting my dad to play some videogames with me... recently my parents broke up (after almost 20 years) so everyone's on a bit of a downer, and my dad's been pretty distant, hiding away with odd jobs, fixing up the house and so forth...

I'm sure it mentioned in the first game that Cole had some climbing experience prior to the whole power thing... it's still pretty ridiculous, but then, so is zapping red lightning clusterbombs out of your arms, and I'll be damned if I pass on that in favour of realism!

how is this remotely lame? it just means you can play the PS3 version with people who are on the PSP version. PSP Adhoc party allows you to play Ad-hoc games over the PSN, effectively making it online (with full voice/text chat).

thats what I was thinking... now if only it had a Red Dead Redemption style open-world multiplayer!

I already have all the PS3 content, though I will be grabbing some of the PSP goodies...

absolutely!

great. I already have all of those titles. :(
