it would be great if more developers had the balls to ignore focus groups... it'd be even better if more gamers landed focus testing jobs!

indeed. when I look at how much people have spent on rockband and guitar hero peripherals over the last decade it makes me whimper in despair that more developers haven't taken advantage of the shift in the market (people being more open to buying pricey controllers).
now if only they'd do a modern steel battalion now that I'm old enough to afford the epic controller!
ha, that was misleadingly awesome!
perv!
wow. I think you've just convinced me to get ahold of a copy of this :D
another song from that album. MAN! I want to see them again now. how is this band not more popular!?
oh I know, a blasphemous act on my part! battle raper truly was genre defining. it's like summarising Ghandi as "some dude", so my apologies :D
These guys are amazing, been a fan for years, but after seeing them live again recently I've been listening to them loads. Trail of dead FTW!
battle raper 2 had a pretty compelling story...
and so my hopes of having skype on the NGP, eradicating the need for a phone, are dashed.
popular TV comedies like black books, the IT crowd, the Office (the funny version), the vast multitude of topical shows (mock the week, stand up for the week, have I got news for you, never mind the buzzcocks, newswipe, 10 o'clock live, etc), Peep show, phonejacker/facejacker, the League of Gentlemen and Psychoville…
I began playing crysis 2 the other day, it's certainly not a terrible game, but it failed to really grab my attention the way other games have;
indeed. it's only a matter of time before we get a unified log-in that's tied to the individual, effectively killing anonymity by tracking all online activities and logging them to a database... whilst it would be a major strike against privacy and make any activist an easy target for those in power, it would have…
the problem is "anonymous" isn't a group. it has no register, it has no central command, it's an identity, or at least an antonym of such.
The funniest americans are the ones from Canada!
I'm holding out hope that the new SOCOM game might succeed because of it's sharpshooter support... not many games support the sharpshooter right now, so anyone with that peripheral will likely pick the title up.
amusingly, "american joke" means the same thing almost everywhere in europe too :D
what many people don't seem to get, these "leaders" included, is that "Anonymous" isn't really an organisation... it's a label that people can identify with, kind of like "goth" or "hippy". goths and hippies don't have a centralised leadership, though they do have members of their respective "communities" who garner…
should be like one of those adventure books where you read a story and at the end of each passage "turn to page 324 to approach the herd of sheep, turn to page 5 to enter the creepy looking mine, turn to page 1337 to climb the highest mountain"... that would encompass the idea of it being a different experience for…
