We have talked about buying a new Highlander Hybrid, depending on the deal. Both our jobs are very secure, we can trade my truck which has about 10k in equity (even with crappy used car values) and get 0%. The hold up is I have less than 2 years left to pay on my truck do I want a car payment even at 0%?

I have a Sam’s Club membership pretty much just for the fuel savings on diesel, the savings ranges from 30 - 60 cents a gallon most of the time right now its closer to 75 cents. Considering we use my truck as the family vehicle and drive over 20,000 miles a year (most of it within a 200 mile radius) it pays for itself

Both of my kids were born before 1999 I am really old

I work for a F300 corporation that is one of the largest in its field, we gross several billion a year and cleared about 450M last year per public records (we are privately owned) but also have 20,000 employees spread out over 3 countries and all the corresponding expenses every company has: rent, mortgages,

If you are just now buying a gun you aren’t going to be very proficient with it IF the times comes to use it. Firearm skills are very much a use it or lose it skill set. I am speaking from experience I hadn’t spent any time on the range for about a year till about 6 months ago was embarrassing how bad I was and I have

I will give up a kidney, a portion of my liver and possibly one other body part but will need to see in person first!

I did just that, the difference between 60 months and 72 was .25%.

My wife’s sister and mom did 23 and Me a few years ago. My wife asked if I ever thought about doing 23 and me or something like that. I looked at her and said when you found me on Facebook after 23 years my first thought was you were someone looking for child support after all these years. I am afraid it will be me

This is all you need to know about the state of Jalopnik....

I completely agree, one summer I worked on a farm driving an old tricycle JD, that you had to spin the fly wheel to start, no cab, metal seat etc. The next summer got a different job moving haystacks to where the grinder was drove a JD 4430 with AC, hydrostatic drive thought I had died and gone to heaven. Got away

The other argument for modern equipment is the size and speed at which they operate. My nephew will combine faster than most old combines could be driven on the road. Not to mention a JD 4440 is not going to pull the modern planters, grain trailers etc due to their size and weight.

I am sure someone else has said this but 2000 acres is actually pretty small. My nephew has about 8000 at any given time depending on land he leases. Once he gets below about 7000 acres his margins take a hit although with crop prices what they are the margins are already shit and its the livestock that are making any

I know a guy who has several DeLoreans and last I knew they were all driven on a regular basis. The last one he bought he drove from Florida back to Nebraska and I think he said he paid less than $12,000

As Nebraskan who cant wait to move back to California, former driver, son of retired drivers, and brother of a current driver. Fuck this dude in his fucked up left eye with a donkey dick. Put his ass in general pop with a sign that says I am a proud member of the KKK/Aryan Brotherhood with no white people a round to

Maybe he did it in memory of Bill Simpson

Cant wait to see the greys have a massive stroke on this....

My first job out of college was writing COBOL and JCL back in the days of dinosaurs and mainframes.

I agree with you on principle but there are times they need to turn them off to protect the identities of victims especially rape, child abuse etc or people who provide information that if they are not kept anonymous could get them hurt or killed.

These are just a few of the stupid things I did in a Beretta and I loved every second of it.
