Oh. Jesus.
Oh. Jesus.
Have you tried using your parking brake?
Go for a spin in the fog with just your parking lights on.
Don’t even get me started on lawn mowers.
I usually aim for the low end of torque as a general rule. Unless, you know, it needs to be tight tight so something doesn’t fall off.... then I start low and go to the high end. It’s a good method for doing multiple hold downs, too. Tighten everything to the bottom end, then hit it all so it’s really tight.
Re: anti-seize.
Roll it back a bit. Look to the 50's/60's for the classics.
Ah. We are in complete agreement then.
wow... and you just galvanized why I should not get a truck (even though I’ve been planning on getting one as my next vehicle): idiots! More specifically, well-meaning friends whom I’m sure will start circling like vultures over a fresh kill the instant I get the keys. Most of them will try and sweeten the deal and…
Lol...hey watch it. I’m far more to the left than that, myself.
Beautiful on the outside. An absolute atrocity as a sedan, though. They must have had to make some serious interior sacrifices to make it so pretty. That really is sad :(
As I roll my eyes reading about a Trio-matic, thanks for reminding me to drink more water.
Hello, ‘69 Charger friend.
Hmph. A broken record. That’s about the most apt description I think I’ve ever heard. A good record, sure, but you can’t just keep playing it over and over again. Sooner or later we need to play something else.
Typically, it doesn’t matter whom owns the vehicle. Even if the repair was already done, you might even be able to ask them to do another pressure test... and I would recommend having that test done before buying any affected RS.
I was under the impression that the snow drift was already there and that he just shaped it to his art project...I do like how the officers took it in stride. The culture of Montreal does seem to leave some latitude for a good natured prank, which is a wonderful thing.
There was a certain tone of derision in what you said... sorry if I assumed you were shitting on past innovators (as this whole discussion has become pretty polarizing), but most people taking part don’t seem to understand that every forward step builds on previous knowledge and experience.
If by winner you mean billionaire and sitting in one of the most powerful offices in the world.... then I guess you could say, yeah, he’s winning.
Most everyone ignores history lessons at their own peril. Take former Prime Minister Trudeau, smiling waving face paddles a canoe down a river and gets elected then tanks the Canadian economy to feed his own ego. Fast forward a couple decades and the dust has barely collected on the history books, next thing you know…
Ok.... what would you use as a boundary instead?
