40k, new? No wonder they were so hard to get for younger me... even used.

Good tip!
I think some vehicles used to... which just led to people ignoring them.
I’d like to hear more about these underground bunkers. I’m asking for a friend.
And this is why ride height is important. Lol
Some call it desperate, I call it uncommon (for a 21 year old) foresight and responsibility.
More cars need hand cranks!
I thought it was some sort of teaser for a movie.
Hmmmm... of the choices, nuclear vaporization is starting to sound like the better option. AI, as we all know, is only going to go out and enslave us all.... at least some of us will survive nuclear winter.
If it’s got 170K on it, I’m going to assume that it’s not a lemon...more likely that lots of little problems are starting to crop up.
I feel your pain... I wish I had an auto like every week. I used to drive a VW with tiptronic and it actually is a good blend. I found it simple and intuitive. Pretty quick to shift... fun to slam through the gears, and good for engine braking.
We talked about this before P. I didn’t get to watch the video, but it looks similar to what I’ve used.
Ok...I gotta give you credit for that one. Are you some sort of magician?
I’ll get behind that. I put Silverstars in one of my old cars. They were on the pricey side, but I never had problems driving at night and were better bang for my buck than HID.
Ah the 626. I had a hatchback ‘86 back in college. If some schmuck didn’t T-bone it, I’d have driven that thing until the wheels fell off. Even if it was pretty meh it still had some redeeming qualities (like the little table that the glove box made when you opened it).
For my part, I’d rather have my own tools. It allows me to work independently in the field and leave the shop fully stocked. If I need to move to another shop, I just pack up and go and I know I’ll have everything I need.
Hear hear. All union rhetoric aside, if you’re packing it in for any reason, then pack it in.... don’t leave your gear behind trusting someone else to take care of it. In a strike situation it sends a stronger message and denies them access to your tools so they can’t let some scab use them or kick them to the curb.
They did. The original transcript I read showed the pilot calling a go-around.
Thank you. That’s new information for me.
That... is a bullshit statement if I’ve ever heard one and it didn’t sit well with me, either. It is not like the aircraft was in a different time zone... more likely that radar couldn’t pick him up because he was near the ground and they couldn’t confirm his position visually because it was dark and they couldn’t…
