A small device is affixed under each player’s shirt that “pops,” making a hole in the shirt and oozing out a brownish liquid.
Every fucking day with the Salt Bae articles.
I’d like to be known as the pissy shitties guy from now on. Pissy shitties.
EVERY SINGLE TIME you called out it’s name I busted out laughing in my cubicle. Much like in high school when something would cause an uncontrollable laughing fit while internally shushing myself to avoid drawing the attention of the teacher.
I think Tucker Carlson at the end of the day understands that he’s not actually stigmatizing pedophilia—he’s stigmatizing talking about pedophilia. But he’s evil and a grifter and doesn’t give a shit about the impact of his words as long as he gets paid.
... they don’t want to harm children. I think you missed the whole point of this research.
So you’re in favor of them abusing children, thereby creating victims worthy of help?
Often those that are attracted to children are victims of abuse. I read an account of a man that went through abuse as a child and never had a relationship as an adult because he was attracted to children and didn’t want to risk having his own kids. He was able to find a sympathetic psychologist and get help. I feel…
Because it’s much easier and more convenient to demonize people struggling than it is to actually help them. Some people can see past their kneejerk reaction, and want to get to the root of the problem/prevent people from abusing, others just want to treat the symptoms/help the victims after the fact.
“I do not believe those are similar struggles at all.” That’s fine but do you disagree with the idea that you can work to prevent harm to children AND help those who are harmed? Or are you saying that you should you only try to help children after they’ve been harmed?
They are *very* similar struggles.
Lol you know, I originally ended my first comment by calling you an idiot, and now I regret deleting it. Luckily, it’s not a mistake I have to live with.
Your quip is unfortunately wasted on a person who clearly didn’t bother to read the article.
Right, just like we shouldn’t bother trying to prevent gun violence, as a better use of one’s time would be spent helping shooting victims.
“I don’t think it should be a struggle not to drink. We should help the victims of drunk drivers instead.”
Isn’t helping potential abusers before they start to abuse helping victims?
This work is so important and I’m so glad someone is brave enough to do it. People with these attractions need mental health support so they DON’T act on their desires. Why anyone would be opposed to that is mind boggling.
I mean, if you had theories on how to protect children from abuse, why would you keep them to yourself? You’re pro-child abuse?
I had no idea people actually cared about Coke vs Pepsi. I just buy whatever’s on sale and pour rum into it when I’m feeling in the mood for a pathetic cocktail.
