Yes, and we had a couple of capybaras escape from our zoo in 2016. They were on the lam for several weeks, but eventually were caught and then had 3 babies. Go figure!

I had to pay a wildlife control company to get the red squirrels out of my attic. Red squirrels are apparently really destructive. (BTW, they do it humanely by blocking the access points in the roof and then putting in a one way door, so that when the squirrels leave, they can’t get back in.)
