Targeting the 35-60 year old w/ a bunch of disposable income demographic is what EBR tried to do once they were out from beneath HD’s corporate umbrella. While that may be a legitimate demo with money, it has thus far not proven to be a reliable group. They were inching ever closer to trying to appeal to newer lower

Bring back the topper....

Really? Modern Japanese bikes are much lighter than their 1970s UJM counterparts and it’s not close.

I think the bike above is reason enough that they won’t make it...they’re too similar.

OTOH, it would like require very very minimal engineering.

I think you mean its similar to the old CB-750, CB-900, and CB-1100 SuperSport bikes from the 70s-80s. I just sold my 1982 CB-900F Super Sport. Very fun bike, a bit tall and heavy for a short person like me.

I’m pretty sure this exact thing was said when Triumph re-released the Bonneville in 2001. And it was probably said again when Kawasaki released the W800 in 2011... and again in 2019.

If IMO is so stringent, why do cruise lines keep getting slapped on the wrist for polluting the ocean?

The CB-F Concept seems to take the UJM look, rake it more aggressively, and add some modern lighting.

I’d argue it’s even closer to the original M1A

I might be alone in this, but I don’t find any of the modern McLarens particularly attractive. I think the P1 is aging well and the MP4's modesty is doing well, but I can take or leave the rest of them. This Elva and the Senna are downright ugly.

All inspected by USCG all inspected by USPH. Pollution is the same for everyone. They try to pay less taxes like every other corporation.

Where I’m at too, even though you can transfer titles, the market is currently flooded with private sales. Dealerships are closing, and people are panic-selling what they have. So you don’t have the dealerships dragging the average up, you’ve more people selling private and you’ve got people letting their stuff go for

I was about to sell my 300ZX, then it needed to be repaired, then I put off repairing because of my laziness... now it looks like I have a lot more time for repairs. Maybe I could even teach myself how to do that timing belt! Sigh.

Now’s a horrible time to sell a car privately in NYS; they closed the DMV’s.

Agreed on the 250-300 comment. You can get very good shape examples for about the same price as well. The problem with highway travel is unless you’re on the highway for anything more than 1 or 2 exits, you’re going to end up yearning for something bigger after 3 or 4 months of riding.

We had the Trail 110 [CT110] when I was a teenager and that thing topped out at about 45 mph... Going down hill... With a strong tail wind.

When I commuted to college on a Honda Trail 90, fully tucked down I did manage to hit 60 mph.

After the world has been decimated from the virus we’re currently battling, humans are bound to become a more nomadic and disjointed species. We will stay isolated from each other as society collapses, and many of the more intrepid among us will straddle a competent and reasonably priced two-wheeled Honda trail. Hop

Yeah you just ideally don't want to be sitting topped out for 30 minutes at a time. It would be a shitty way to start and end a day with that 125 buzzing away under you, getting blown around by brodozers on the turnpike.
