Being a Fox family member an awful lot of go-fast parts should bolt right in. There could be a blown Lima under the hood for amusing power and blowoff valve sounds, there could be a pressurized Essex, there could be a superhero 5.0.

GT40 heads are fairly common and have nothing to do with the GT40.

From this joker’s ad:

Never been a fan of forward controls really, but I can appreciate a mid peg cruiser for sure, this actually looks pretty similar to the riding position of the old unit twins.

Well no wonder it’s shutting off. You got yourself a cheese clog there buddy.

Call it the linebacker of bikes, it has 147 ft/lbs of torque and 145 horsepower to haul that big weight around.

The production process for the Rocket 3 is awe inspiring complex:

Definitely been wanting to try this one, I like the looks far more than the last model.  I’m not a gyno-cruiser guy, but I do enjoy the mid-peg “sport cruiser” segment this and the Ducati Diavel occupy.

Cool rendering I guess, but there is no way in hell that motorcycle would actually fit in the bed of that, even with the tailgate down. It wouldn’t be practical for anything more than an overpriced Yeti cooler and a couple beach towels.

Every time I see a new Alfa I figure the owner must either have no memory of how bad these were the last time they were sold in the US or haven’t read anything about how bad they still are in its current form.

The problem isn’t that they have 36 models... it’s that they have 36 models that are all variations of their overtired cruiser theme.

I think the only thing HD can really offer anyone at this point is being a case study in business school. Don’t rest on your laurels while your market ages out.

HD should probably start treating their “heritage” as a bonus and not their main selling point. If they can start with a rad looking, semi-affordable bike that competes on performance and comfort within the shrinking market, adding some history/legacy/whatever on top is great.

Right, where is thier sport tourer, their line of small to big dual sport bikes, where are thier high tech 600-1000cc sport bikes, scramblers, Upright position daily drivers? Honda, Yahama, Suzuki, Kawasaki all offer at least 10+ styles of bikes on thier websites.

I talked to a guy some years back at a performance racing convention some years back that personally knew Eric Buell. I guess Harley killing the brand literally brought him to tears, and he’s not the type of guy to tear up.

If I were CEO, I would start (or a buy) a new leg of the company and sell bikes that are competitive with what people are buying. I might call it Byool, or Beeyouwill, or something like that...

And a dealer network that is welcoming to people who want something new too. Their dealer network prides itself on running customers off if they don’t fit with the Harley image.

Maybe I’m just remembering prices as they used to be, but as an old-soul Gen X’er, I just can’t see paying $4k for a 27-year old car, with that description you just gave.
