Did you just out yourself as NOT to have seen Thunderbolt?
There’s issues to using a Com system on something like a race bike.
A wonderful piece for an extraordinary man. Good Luck with the Alfa David, it’s transcended into a momento. RIP
I have had mine for a year and half.
There’s simply more than numbers though.
I want to say it was more of technical issue than the riding.
No joke, watching a race with a co-worker on a slow graveyard some 3 years ago sold me on getting a license and a bike. It was the best wheeled circuit racing I’d ever seen.
I have the exact same thoughts. The vast majority of ‘wings I’ve seen past like 2010 has been a full on top box tour spec, and on tour. The new ones are near $30k so usually riders either just have the newer ‘wing and use it pretty much exclusively for tour or will supplement have a smaller bike for town.
Pig in lipstick. It’s a 25yo, low trim. Worth only f-it money in any condition, I think $2k tops.
They’re originally kind of like having a rally cross car (like a STi or a Focus RS). They’re usually quite light weight bikes with a fair amount of low end grunt from low cylinder count and gearing. This makes them really really good at performing wheelies, low speed acceleration, and agility. They typically have more…
Yes, and in North America it’s a one year only bike (as they went to the neo retro r for ‘19+).
Not even, I’d just run plasti-dip. Get shot? Remove affected area, re-apply. Rinse and Repeat.
Bought basically the same bike over 2 years ago as a first bike, quick but with progressive controls. If you take a riding course and are over 5'10 you can probably handle it from the offset if you wanted. Suspension is good, I think it deserves better tires. I think they come standard with the Metzlers now and they’re…
I own an ‘18 CB650F at just under 17,000mi...
CP, My first car was like this and I bought it for $1000. I wouldn’t pay anymore than that for this.
Who said they were going to sail at full capacity? I can quote the author and say I “almost guarantee you” they’re not.
Seeing how this is now going to be the new normal of FP content, this is my last day engaging here. This place used to at least have moderate takes and thought provoking ideas but it’s gone partisan.
I wouldn’t say right now, but the projections are for virus spread ramping down. SARS-CoV did this exact same thing in 2003 on a smaller scale, started in Nov ‘02, ramped up Mar ‘03, but completely flamed out in Jun.
