I know Bradley gets fed up with these arguments on range but I do actually have a bit of an issue because I do some longer rides that even the ZF14.2 charge tank is incapable of doing as it’s mostly highway bombing. It could do the range I need for work days and the evening mess around.

Shit was like LEGO. People swapped head gaskets in Walmart parking lot in an hour and a half and stupid other things like trans swaps before lunch. As long as you didn’t loose that 10mm, anything was pretty much possible.

And that’s just the thing. I have another dude from BC acting the fool and saying a $12-13k *after rebates* 48hp Zero 7.2 isn’t expensive [it is], and it has 140km range (city). It’s good enough for what he does, so it’s good enough for me [it’s not]:

It’s not worth M car money, as it’s not an M car. CP

“Your welcome guys, we just cured anxiety” *Whoooooooosh: Anxiety goes over 9000

Oh! The ZF3.6 that doesn’t even have the range to make it from Daytona to my residence? I’d have to haul a $3700 spare battery to hot swap, or beg some random business to let me use their 120 to top off for an hour and get me home?

HOLY SHIT, I have to watch this. It looks like a contender to top Redline in the car movies done bad genre.

He loves the electric bikes and I respect that it’s a passion of his. They are great motorcycles thru and thru. But they’re just so damn expensive.

201mi is the city range. Hwy range on electric motorcycles drops to about half.

The younger riders usually don’t want to spend +$20k on a motorcycle that performs more or less the same as something like a MT-09 at half the price.

I was waiting for you to say this as it’s might thoughts as well.

I know it’s a broken record. I look every year at the Zero models and exclaim “They want how much? For what?!”

It’s probably a mix of starry eyed, naivety, and the old magicians misdirection.

Most tracks you can’t get a 1000cc to the limit unless your lucky enough live around a world class circuit and have significant training and track experience. I will say that lower cc is better for a numerous reasons on the track where a person will actually rip the bike at their own pace.

I mean it does look cool but if you’re going to do clip swaps, especially on tarting up a damaged door crasher. You may as well run your project into the ground, because that money isn’t coming back.

I mean this article is no different than saying hypercars have too much power. They also have electronic assist everything, hell most of them are automatics now and they drive perfectly fine. One can basically daily an Aventador the same way one can a Panigale V4S.

I’m not familiar, but it would not surprise me. The influence is very widespread and trying to trace it back I would imagine to be an intricate shell corp puzzles with factitious owners.

I would make sense if they welded it or put a spool in. *I see it spinning in the video though, maybe some sort of limited slip?* It would keep power to the wheel once the other rear wheel left the ground making it easier to drive it over once it started tipping.
