I look at this and realize that yes there was some very dark points in the past but man look at the fun things they did without the overbearing shadows of “being offended”, NIMBY, Helicopter parents, Darwin Protections, inadequate leaders... etc.

Yes, I highly recommend riding school refresher if you haven’t ridden in a while. And it’s fair enough it becomes 2 vehicles to maintain and insure. I’m kicking myself a little because I should have bought better gear and I’m likely going to be doing a replace this winter of my summer gear.

Yes. Purchase Date means absolutely dick all. It’s Date of Manufacture that important in regards to product safety.

Trying to make sense of COTD will drive one mad. And it’s been like this for a long time now.

Some are saying to rebuild another 360 and put this back together, but if you’re interested in reconditioning this to keep it original I guess now is the time to consider swapping long blocks to rebuild this engine then swap back. If you’re planning minimal downtime and ultimately have the original engine…

Yeah, you would have the car impounded here in Canadaland for +60kph for sure. $370 ticket, whatever tow fee (a couple hundred), 7 day impound, “risky driver” insurance premium. It adds up like $2000. We don’t have speed cameras but instead officers willing to setup opportunist radar (usually in the same spots).

Same. I almost had my bike impounded because heaven forbid I opened it up to increase my bubble from a bunch of left lane lingerers when there was NO ONE in front of me on the highway at 10pm.

When I went to riding school, half the class were newish pilots and the instructor was a retired commercial pilot.

Not a Turbo thus not worth the price.
