You can usually get away with an ACU whatever - mainly because right now the issued items are changing all the time. And then there are the items that have been made for the soldiers deployed to Afghanistan (they have their own camo) that aren't standard issue in ACU but you can get away with wearing. So, yes, a

Exactly. My hair was too short to put up, but too long to be down and I got a counseling statement. It sucks to not be compliant with the uniform standards.

You CAN add a scarf. I have a scarf. I wear it. It's really nice.

Think before you denigrate those of us who stood up and were counted. Not all of us are republican or redneck or stupid.

Yep. This is what I was thinking too. There's not usually a problem with breastfeeding - it's breastfeeding without following the protocol in place for your uniform.

They stop by a place designated for families with privacy. Not the same as doing it in the open without a cover on. (By cover I mean headgear - a hat)

BDUs are not the current uniform and as such are not part of the discussion. Unless you have US ARMY over your heart with all accompanying insignia in the current uniform you aren't actually impersonating a servicemember.

As a woman in the army I have mixed feelings. Women should be allowed to breastfeed anywhere and when they want. But being in uniform is... Different?

My uncle was JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS on Facebook! For a second I was going to ask if you were him.

I agree - but her starting weight was 9 months PREGNANT. So the 30 she lost includes all what you said. No one ever said she lost that much fat.

But she already dropped 30 in 3 weeks - so she only has 70 to go in 6 months. And she can afford it.

Residual self-image is a tricky thing. Right now my hair is very short and light brown. I decided it was time for a change and my hair was sort of damaged from all the dying. My residual self-image in my dreams - long(mid-back) auburnish/reddish/goldish hair.

I really love Betty McCollum. I'm so proud she's from my state.

Now playing

I love Josh Groban. Not his music. Him. He's so funny and cool and he's, like, totally on my list.

I bought a very expensive mattress when I finally FINALLY moved out of my parents house. It's a BackCare by BeautyRest and its AWESOME. Between the bed and my pillow and my bit I don't have upper back pain all the time. And it's 9 years old and still in great shape. I rotated it all the time and wore it evenly.

My sort-of godson who has autism will always live at home without a job. That is, unless his mom can find a group home living situation for him. Right now he is 9 years old and has to wear diapers because no matter how many times you "teach" him potty training doesn't stick. He is a very strong child and will grow

I have been so creepily in to Josh Hutcherson for YEARS. I'm too too too old for him - considering I thought he was quite a cutie in Zathura.

I've been away a while and changed my name on here so you won't recognize me REALLY, but OMG, Halfpence is old enough to bring you stuff? Holy crap! Kids grow so fast! I remember when you were still pregnant.

I'm proof Yaz can suck. I was on it over a year and then started developing an extremely painful stomach. They thought I might have ulcers, or super painful reflux, a dairy intolerance.

Recently my mom tried to tell me that the name for people who use condoms was "parents" and that when she went to planned parenthood in the in the early 70's they basically told her they were useless.
