And both Uber and Lyft, and Sports Direct and innumerable fast food companies all need to be held to account for their attempts to skirt employment rights by keeping their staff on zero hour contracts. But that doesn’t negate what they’re doing here, which, as you point out, is not related to them directly…

In general I’m not opposed to the monetization of good works, because I believe that good works are paramount, good messaging matters, and if it makes someone money somewhere that’s incidental. I don’t mind that Kim K is partnering with Lyft to accomplish something that is good for people who have largely been screwed…

Sorry I can’t be mad at Kim TRYING to help people who otherwise would have no other outlet to find employment.

I’m just a Nobody, but I’ve been thinking about Pete constantly. No one knows his struggle the way he does but I can empathize. I hope he finds the help he needs.
