Yeah, I agree about Conquest Assault. I feel like it’s very difficult for them to get right, and I think I would probably just enjoy more Conquest maps with a little extra love than I would additional Conquest Assault maps.

There’s a mission in SC2 (also in that mission you could destroy the enemy) that was turned into an official mod (in which you actually have to survive) like this. It’s probably not quite as advanced as this game though.
