You can breeze through Odyssey if you’re not concerned about getting everything. And it works well in small chunks, too. I didn’t 100% it but have gone back a bunch of times to grab stuff because the game is good enough to sell itself.

Hollow Knight and Mario Odyssey. Both games with great reputations, but I keep putting them off because they feel like either would demand quite the time commitment.
I actually found the stand design for the ps5 rather neat, especially the slot to put the screw in so it’s harder to lose it.
Yeah, I have a GTX 1070 and It plays the games I play at 1440p just fine.
I would like to get a RTX 3060 or 3070 sometime next year but its not like I need it.
Like to get it for the nice bump in performance, as well as the ability to enjoy games with Ray Tracing when I play them.
Oooo the black controller looks nice.
Why are the horses not glitched out and flying around the screen?
Yeah, just... really, after reading all this, what is there left to say?
you’re asking the right questions
I live the double switch life where the Lite is now my most used Switch, and the old Switch is for the whole family to use (I’ll still use it to play docked occasionally too). This works great for me, since it lets me play more often (while others are using the TV) or on my breaks at work. Just some things to be aware…
Unfortunately, cloud saves can straight-up not work at all; many big games like Splatoon 2 and Pokemon don’t support them.
There’s something so raw and emotional about the Nausicaa soundtrack that makes me tear up every single time I hear it.
See, that just makes me think of a Corgi / Ernest Borgnine hybrid.
I vote for Borgi, personally. Nice fit on the profile picture Ein, btw.
Raise your hand if you’ve been anxiously awaiting Tim’s article on DQ11 S.
I also love the Soundtrack of HK. Christopher Larkin had a large task and cleared it flawlessly. From the feeling of dread and of an ambush from Nosk to Accordion Brumm with it’s jolly circus tone. The game has exceeded every expectation from the music department.
Yeah, Hollow Knight deserves a LOT of credit for its music (among many other things that the game executes very well). The score of each area really does the heavy lifting in setting the tone. It’s been like six months and I am still not over how great that game is. Good things come in small packages sometimes,…
Talking about HK, that game is MASSIVE. I’ve been playing for like 30 hours and I’m still finding new locations and god knows how far away I am from finishing the main story...
Hollow Knight has fantastic music all around but yea I like to sit on that dude’s bench and chill out to that music.
Glad to hear I’m not the only one! I really appreciate that DQ11 seems to be made to be played at your own pace, like how the loading screen is a recap of the most recent plot events (a feature that every long RPG needs to steal). Plus the fact that the plot seems to be broken up into a series of 4-6 hour storylines…
I’m right there with you, and I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. My wife and I spent the last few months househunting, buying, and finally moving into our first house, which it turns out is incredibly stressful and time-consuming. On top of that work’s been stressful and had some long hours and tight…
