I will never forget that scene. I don't think I've ever really see a movie really smack me across the head with a metaphor until I had a cracked skull and was passed the fuck out, so blatantly in my life.

Honestly, outside of Can't Feel My Face, Beauty Behind the Madness isn't all that different from the stuff he's released before.

LONELY TOWN.

Tinashe needs more love here.

Fuck I keep seeing Beach House on everyone's list. I should probably get to listening to the new album.

While the album is very overrated, I will say that if you pared it down there would a genuinely, unironically, amazing 5-6 track EP on there.

Nah, it's all about The Blacker the Berry.

Not even the best song on the album IMO.

The Blacker the Berry is like the perfect distillation of the entire album in one track.

General List with no particular order:

Wait how did I forget about Run Away With Me.

Confident was a horrible pop album though, filled to the brim with filler. Cool for the Summer was the only half interesting thing that I took.

Real talk: What did you actually think of Lady Gaga's acting? I'm curious for some opinions.

It's not a bad album per se, but after Settle completely set the tone and paved the way for the slew of drum n bass/house music acts that followed in its wake (Clean Bandit etc.) I would've liked something a little more innovative from them.

It's not necessarily the fact that you need to root for them, but more that there needs to be some kind of consequence for their actions.

Yeah you pretty much summed up my thoughts on all the characters. I'm struggling to properly articulate this, but basically I don't think you can shout sexism because we find these "anti-heros" bad. I just don't think they're being written as well as other anti-heros like Walter White, if that makes sense to anyone

Arielle Kebbel is amazing. Everyone should want to hire Arielle Kebbel.

I think my issue with the story is how much is too much morally corrupt actions before an anti-hero moves into antagonist territory?

Also I think Mad World was playing in the background of the Nomi/Lido scene. Great instrumental to score that scene imo.

This is bit of Sophie's Choice situation.
