"Imagine a mediocre, barely recognizable cast of actors on a ship
captained by January Jones (Chastain) and surrounded by Jewel Swaithe
(Mara), Michael Mando at pilot (Pena), Rami Malek (Sebastian Stan), and
the fake German guy still played by the fake German guy assuming those
acting responsibilities for 30+ minutes

Not to mention the dilemma IS brought up in the movie, by Jeff Daniels, and his hand is pretty much forced by PR and the fact that much of NASA's data is public domain.

Deeply predictable and yet still massively enjoyable.

Hell, Jessica Chastain saying "Let's go get our boy" is in the freaking trailers.

If I'm not mistaken, Erica is a senior, Barry's a junior, and Adam is in 8th grade. So Adam and Barry should have a year together next season, but that's it.

" JTP, who somehow manage to dress in bright colors - possibly inspired by Color Me Badd?"

"The episode is goofier, for sure: Look at the “undercounter switchblade,” the “shower machete,” and the “blender nunchucks”…"

I would rather have spent those two hours watching Dench and Diesel play D&D.

You don't think the current cast is practically a D&D party already?

Possibly. Family legend has it that my grandfather was AWOL for the entirety of the Korean War, and no one ever noticed.

I thought the same. Maybe the twins are also full agents undercover posing as recruits, because nothing else makes sense. They ARE clearly only attending the classes one at a time.

I had nothing but plausibility questions. It seems like the FBI screeners are the worst investigators ever.

(sorry for being so late to the party, just catching up on the show)

Wait, he's not? Shit.

What use would they have had for catapults and gliders? Who were they engaging with in siege warfare prior to this?

If every single Star Wars movie is an indication, it's not so great at deflecting laser shots, either.

Not only that, but their mission was NEVER to go rescue Princess Leia, it was to take the droids to Alderaan (which is precisely what she asked Ben to do). It just turned out that the Death Star was sitting in Alderaan's place.

Precisely. Max gives precisely zero shits about the beautiful, soaking wet ladies as sexual beings. His first instinct is to leave all of them behind. Then, when forced, he's willing to let Furiosa tag along because the rig won't run without her. THEN he's like "Fuck it; we'll all just wait here, then" until Furiosa

My problem with the Ewoks is, despite clearly being hunter-gathers who aren't concerned with the Empire's presence before the Rebels show up, they somehow master siege warfare and aerial combat overnight. And the Emperor's elite troops are somehow totally outclassed.

I think she was saying that Furiosa didn't take them with her in the first place. (Not that that would have been possible, seeing as they were *in the room with Immortan Joe and sons when she left*…)
