"Terminator Ten" FTW!
"Terminator Ten" FTW!
Yeah, but what would WE do? I don't have my Terrordrome anymore…
They did a pretty good job with the neck down for "Dragon".
"the guy the Ip Man movies are about taught martial arts to Lee"
The bull terrier is an actual breed. (For non dog people old enough remember the 80s, Spuds Mackenzie was a bull terrier). "Pit bulls" referenced by the media and politicians are not a breed; it's a loose amalgamation of physical traits (many of which the bull terrier shares) defining a TYPE of dog. So attributing…
Real talk: pit bulls = not an actual breed. They're a set of pretty loose physical characteristics that we've legally defined as "pit bulls", hence the huge spectrum of temperaments you see between individuals.
As a dog owner, my favorite part of the day is the odd looks I get when I tell people (dog owners or otherwise), "No, *don't* come pet him/bring your dog over to say 'hi', because he doesn't know you and he's NOT friendly."
HHM is the anti-Grey Matter.
Downplaying?
I had both of those, too. Man, I loved the Terrordrome. Castle Greyskull had nothing on that.
And Metroplex. And last week he had the USS Flagg from G.I. Joe (the 8-foot aircraft carrier that practically nobody actually owned) in the background. I pointed that out excitedly to my wife, who as usual continued to rethink the choices she's made in life…
"I wonder what Point Break would look like after seven iterations…"
I'd be cool with her just going away, like Rickon.
Pam's line about making $240k a year in cancelled appointment fees got me wondering what other lines of work that could apply to.
No matter how I feel about a particular episode of this show, in each one there is always one line that is perfect for me. This week it was: “I eat the right amount of hot dogs!”
That's ok; he'll just call Plow King.
Did I misinterpret last week's episode? Going by the complete lack of repercussions - physical or emotional - after they got back from whatever festival it was, I was under the impression that Alex's wild behavior was because she decided to give up, let go, and do all the stuff everyone else doing that she'd always…
A couple million up front? I don't speak lawyer, but I think Howard mentioned something about that being a potential ethics issue, and Jimmy seemed to think that was reasonable.
I thought the hold was obvious from the things Hamlin and every other lawyer on the show has said: Chuck's a legal genius and the firm wouldn't exist without him, then or now.
This may make you dislike me, but I can totally see Chuck's point of view. I don't agree with it or condone it, but it felt real to me, something I can totally picture a real guy saying or doing. It's natural to be resentful of someone approaching your level in a fraction of the time or (seeming effort) after you've…
