lol, fair. Also I guess that’s why Elon insists that everything be clearly labled .... lololol
This guy’s post was a joke, not literal.
(But it IS damn funny! And not at all implausible.)
I’d like to add one thing to your excellent points (and say that although I went to law school, I dropped out midway through and am not a lawyer): there are a lot of ways to zealously defend even a scumbag, guilty* (*not in a legal sense until after a conviction, of course) client.
Came here to note this. Also, for pete’s sake, everyone should be showing up to help keep the Rev Warnock in the Senate rather than the train wreck that is Hershel Walker. If you haven’t ever, look up some of the times that the Rev. Warnock has spoken on the floor of the Senate. He is a POWERFUL speaker.
If accurate (and there’s no reason that it WOULDN’T be accurate), that is SHOCKINGLY stupid (read: not very shocking at all).
“she was arguably the main lead”
Do we still need to say “allegedly” when the lead in picture is the person doing to actual thing? dunno, but it seems silly.
“Dark MAGA” ..... isn’t that a division of COBRA (from GI Joe)? It sounds like it should be a division of COBRA ...
Yes to everything you said, and ALSO let’s point out that after a few viewings I was able to identify the music and it’s Motley Crue’s Dr. Feelgood, which is about a fictionalized drug dealer in hollywood. Soooo let’s see: glam metal, by a band that dressed like women, did ungodly amounts of drugs, had sex with…
If the policies stay in place for several years (say 10 years, for example), then I imagine what will occur will be ideological self-sorting. Yes, student X is from New York state but their family is ultra-Christian so they will seek out conservative schools, and a higher portion of those schools will be in states…
“She’s already earned critical acclaim for her roles in small screen hits, High Fidelity and Big Little Lies.”
I’m about 80/85% certain that they meant to nominate either Lumbly OR Mackie but they white-people’d-it-up (disclosure, I’m a white people so I can say that with confidence). In my head, some self important white guy told their intern fill out the form with ‘you know, the black guy’ and no one really anticipated that…
Yeeeaahhh, that’s what the PA Supreme Court SAID. But no one has any evidence of that. There was NOT a written, signed agreement for non-prosecution or immunity. All there is was a press release by the DA (which I think was released AFTER the civil trial, to attempt to explain why he wouldn’t prosecute criminally).
The…
Turn on the conservative politicians who have been stroking the fires of hatred and racism and then elect MORE and WORSE racist fools. This will win Republican primaries but will lose against normal candidates in general elections. Hopefully.
You are not naive. However, the Republican’s are now in a tough spot. The politicians probably don’t care that much about abortion (I’m sure some do), but they’ve made it a rallying cry for 30 years and convinced their voters that it’s a holy mission to ban abortion.
Now that the Republican politicians have achieved…
This is stupid and awful, but it’s absolutely understandable from a Repuglican point of view.
1) Guns are manly.
2) Shooting guns at black people is even manlier.
3) This gives 5 or 6 licensed executioners the opportunity to legally shoot a few black people a year.
4) You better bet that ‘important (white) people’ are…
“The people of Kansas laid down with crazy so now it’s time to spend the night.”
Point, but they weren’t even the good guys back then. It was still ‘conservative, racist, white, corporate power’ vs ‘liberal, a-little-bit-less-racist, white+, labor power’. It’s just that back then, the first group named themselves democrats and the second group named themselves republicans.
Rand Paul has ALWAYS…
“GUARANTEED that fucker has used the term “spirit animal” before” ...
Yeah, but he was referring to a taped up guinea pig ....
