In Brazil it is very common to put black stickers on B-pillars in cars that don’t have this. It even have a name: “blackout”. But some cars isn’t designed to have this kind of treatment and the results are awful. To me the Beetle is one because the pillars sticks out too much from the windows and the side windows…
Just curious, how many HP do you need in a B-size car? 220? 400?
Practically 100 bhp/litre is always worth recognizing.
No Dice.
But 138 hp out of a turbo motor in 2016 in a car the size and weight of a massage chair?
Yeah, it seems like people on here seem to think it’s a $6000 car, which is just wrong. But 12k is definitely a little high, probably should be more like $9,999.
...but being an insufferable jackass, explaining what makes your car special to everyone who never asked, is one of the few joys of owning a special version of a basic vehicle.
My daughter had a Sonic (LT) before she bought her Miata. Actually not a bad small car.
While some folks are also arguing that Gray is too young to really grasp the consequences of his actions
Some enthusiasts get a late start because of things outside of their power. I didn’t get my first car until 18. Sure, I had a job, but the earnings from that job kept the lights on at home. When I finally was able to keep my money, I bought a beater 2001 Kia Rio as my first car. I still miss that thing.
Look- I’m a lifelong Toyota guy. I have a 25 year old Tacoma. But I also own a 10 year old Volt. Hands-down, way better than the Prius we owned before and so far, 160,000 miles with no issues. Remember the Cobalt, Cavalier, and all those other shitty cars GM made. True pieces of crap. Does GM make some duds? Sure. But…
Dude, that was 10 years ago
Tesla doesn’t have no marketing. They just approach marketing in a completely different way. I think they have the right approach in that they know that no multimillion-dollar advertisement during the Super Bowl is going to generate as much buzz as paying an intern $500 to program a button into their cars to make them…
Color me impressed. Never thought I’d be anything close to a GM fanboi, yet here I am. Two EVs in (2016 Spark EV and currently 2020 Bolt) I’ve been happy with their offerings in terms of value for money. With this upcoming product lineup they’re clearly continuing to build on that.
What’s wrong with it, what would be a better looking SUV?
GM has certainly made their share of bad or questionable decisions over time (what 100 year old company hasn’t), but GM not able to innovate?
Look at the uproar that the Mach-E is facing from people. “iT’s nOt A MUsTanG.” Corvette is an even more storied brand/nameplate than Mustang, I’m sure that factors into their decisionmaking.
