N S2000, no MR2, hardly anything with fewer than 4 doors. I have no need to haul around six other people. I want light, agile, good looking, and within budget. The Veloster is the only thing and even comes close, but it misses the mark as well. Once again I feel let down.

@R-GTI: It's a 1975 1500. I'm hoping to have it on the road for this summer.

Finish building the Spitfire with my son. (mostly just assemble the thing. I have all the parts.)

Get My BMW back on the road.

My kids are grown I rarely drive with more than me and one passenger. I don't have a favorite 5 door.

Back in the late 70s me and my friends in Colorado used to wrap nylon strap around our motorcycle tires to ride in the snow. If you were careful it kind of worked. I rode my old Triumph Bonneville through a whole winter one year.

@cmdrfire: Most of things I like in this world would be illegal if they weren't woven into the fabric of society before we became obsessed with making sure every idiot lives to a ripe old age. Progress eh?

This last year Scientific American wrote an article titled "Ten worse inventions of the last century" in the list was human driven cars! They said a major goal of this century should be to remove the human element from driving. I can only hope this isn't accomplished till I'm too old to drive myself around.

Looks like they showed how GM how they should have built this thing in the first place. Good job!

My rant is about the ever tightening grip of the nanny state, and the laws designed to protect and keep safe our ever increasing number of idiots who go out and do stupid things, get hurt, then benefit from huge legal settlements that bring on new laws and make it virtually impossible to have any fun without breaking

@jason.dubreuil: I forced myself to sit through a whole episode and it only convinced me that I didn't like the show. I don't like any of the guys, none of them have anything interesting or funny to say. Last night while I was channel surfing I ran past Tony Hawk as the star in a small car talking about his love of

1966 Impala 2 door I bought from my best friend's father for $300

I like the sound of Avalonamino. It flows off the tongue.

Let me try this again.

It was 1976 I was 16 and had my fresh Colorado driver's license in hand, and a friend offered to sell me a Model T pickup with a 327 chevy small block in it for $600. I probably wouldn't have survived but I still regret not buying it.

My kids used to be embarrassed by my old Toyota 4wd Van. Did I care? Embarrassing your children is one of the joys of parenthood.

I have a love/hate relationship with my Fiat Spider, so far it's been more love than hate. That almost changed when I had to replace the starter. All I have to do is get it running well and drive it then I love it again.
