I have to agree. That's a great story. Well written.

I Like old cars myself, but feel there was too much emphasis on rare and expensive classics. I'll be the first one to say that modern cars are designed more by safety legislators and insurance lobbyist then engineers and car designers. I have to ask the question though, why can't older cars be good daily drivers? If

It amazes me that Audi can take something as simple as a headlight and turn it into some overly complicated Rube Goldberg contraption, then get praise from automotive press for doing so.

I think if Smart would have sold the smart roadster rather than the smart clown car Sale would be a bit more brisk. It's a perfect example of a car that was slow yet fun. Even more power Clarkson had to admit it was fun drive. I's like to see more cars like the Smart roadster.

Let me try this again.

Two words: Model bloat.

I've been to this junkyard several times in the last few weeks. I pulled a rear end for my Fiat spider there. I thought about grabbing those seats out of the TR7 for my Spitfire, but I just can't take the red plaid. There's also a Jenson there. Did I miss the down in the junkyard on that one?

That is just too cool for words.

That was a great article. I’ve been saying this for years. I’m constantly loaning out my OBDII code reader, and I no longer own car that I can use it on. Three years ago when my Acura died I bought a 1981 Fiat spider (my first rear wheel drive car in years) and I love driving it so much that I decided to use it as a

I've seen an engine fire in a ford econoline van spread through the "dog house" also known as engine cover to the interior if the cab fairly fast. Either that or cigarette left burning on the seat. I say meth lab.

Feeling safe isn't something I associate with driving. I don't drive to feel safe.

I remember seeing James May drive the Chevy Aveo and he said "The only reason you'd buy this car is because you hadn't driven anything else!"

I sent you guys a link to the eBay ad several months ago. This thing is a customized Thunderbird and sold on eBay some time ago.

Yamaha has a great paper-craft site. If you have a printer, scissors, and some glue go ahead and have some fun. [www.yamaha-motor.co.jp]

I actually own a 1987 4wd Toyota LE van that has 220,000 miles and still gets used a few times a month. back in its day with swiveling, reclining captains chairs, a great sound system, the six-pack sized built-in cooler, dual ac (front and rear) plus the 4wd it was the ultimate go anywhere in comfort road trip

I belive the first generation was the best. everything they did after that just soiled purity.
