Java is great in Java native environments. Web browsers are not that. Death to applets.
Java is a wonderful language that has many applications. It’s the glue that sticks other languages together. That being said: It has no place in your web browser. It has no place in your browser in the same way that flash doesn’t: Nothing on any kind of authority should allow remote system level access. The “sandbox”…
Anyone who believes that quick time windows integration is integral to any aspect of video manipulation has no idea how video encapsulation works. Even final cut allows you to encapsulate to MP4 or MKV. QT has been dead for a while. Last time I remember quick time being essential was QT flash video in 2005.
Nice bridge. How about you fuck off underneath it?
I love this wall of text. So few people understand that the bones of their mobile devices are made of the operating systems run by mainframes.
I always liked MacOS - And I’m typically a PC guy. I understand why Apple moved away from the MacOS nomenclature- OSX was a step in a profoundly different direction; BSD, at it’s core is a powerful command line accessible operating system- antithetical to MacOS. Still— I would be interested to see what would result…
Also seriously Gizmodo- Still in the greys?
I do R&D to develop autonomous drones. This is a big deal, but the technology applied isn’t anything ground breaking. I know that the math behind fuel cell systems could allow a circumnavigation without stops and I’d like to see that technology applied similarly.
For everyone that is armchair electrical engineering this:
With the current state of mobile OEMs, I’m frankly a little surprised that there isn’t a standard that simply allows people to roll their own laptops. That’s what this basically is- but not.
I now perceive this guy to be a piece of shit, but he could also not be one. Regardless, I have been convinced that he very likely is and would treat him as such if I ever had any contact with him.
Going the other way with this one...
I think this is the most nihilistic post I have ever seen from Gawker Media.
Goddamn misleading GIF. I expected SO much more from this “cannon”.
Yeah dude! Fuck awesome novel discoveries if they don’t easily and immediately replace other fundamental construction concepts. Right in the ass.
These people look like fucking idiots. Even if I knew nothing about them; Meeting them for the first time I’d definitely be double checking their math as they bagged up my groceries.
Oh wow you squished some long thing into a short fat thing that fits in a wallet. Holey moley! Thanks! I’m just so forgetful of the life threatening diseases I have. I might forget that such a fragile instrument is now present in my wallet and damage it horribly through day to day activity only to expect it to work at…
This is a little complicated by the fact that Valve did not offer bug bounties and yet this individual came out and cracked one, while being indignant about not receiving one (Or an at least an acknowledgement) - The issue is derived from the nature.
When you are an awful person about things you are entitled to; It is generally understood that you should be less entitled to them in direct proportion to said awfulness.
